Christine had another ultrasound this morning. Baby Chastin weighed in at 1 pound. The ultrasound lady snapped a profile pic for me and the doctor told us everything is looking great. I've been wanting to take the video camera in and record some live action shots for ya'll. But the doctors office doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm. Maybe I'll get the camera glasses from WSB's investigative unit and go undercover. We have another appointment in two weeks.

Two Chefs Enter. One Chef Leaves.

Christine has challenged me to start cooking more. She heard I was a good cook. But says I've haven't proven it yet.

I've been spoiled over the past few years as Christine has honed her cooking skills.
Christine is an excellent cook. So good that I've taken it for granted.

With a baby boy on the way, it's time to step up my game, dust off those legendary family recipes, and wow her with new and exciting culinary delights.

So get ready Christine, those Enchiladas were just the beginning. Welcome to Thunder Dome!

My Best Days Are Just Ahead

Ah college. Such an introspective time. Believe it or not that's me in the pictures. Back in 99' I spent most my days climbing cliffs you wouldn't believe. I actually thought I was going to be a professional climber. I have so many amazing memories from those times.

But one day I found myself "On The Road," sleeping in an 82' Chevy Astro Van and eating tuna fish...right out of the can. That's when it hit me. I wanted something better. Something AMAZING.

Flash Forward 10 years...Education (check) Good Job (check) Great Family and Friends (check)

Then AMAZING happened.

I have such a smart and beautiful wife and I can't believe our baby boy is only a few more months away!

I've been lucky to have so many breath taking moments. But when Chastin's born, none of them will compare to the first time I see him. My best days are just ahead!
