Week 33 New Pics

So excited to share new pictures with you! We were amazed at the quality of these ultrasound pictures taken today. Everything is going great and Christine is just amazing. In this first picture you can see Chastin's little nose and eye. The doc said he was hiding the rest of his face with his arm. Great profile pic if you ask me! Click each picture for a closer look.

In this next picture, Chastin strikes a pose for the camera, see his nose and tiny lips?

Then, he started opening and closing his mouth. It was cool to watch him practice his nursing skills before we welcome him into the world.

Another profile picture, right before he decided to go and hide from the camera.

30 Weeks

Well, Christine is her 31st week and she is doing great. I Can't believe how fast time has gone by. The baby doesn't have a lot of room to move around anymore and he's always jabbing Christine in the ribs. Everything has gone so smooth and we are very thankful for that. His room is coming along nicely and once we add a couple more things I'll post a video so you can take a look.
Christine's sister Holly came to visit with her little one, Emma. We had a great time with them! Hope everyone is doing great.

Quick Update

Not a whole lot going on right now. Christine is doing great and Chastin is kicking a lot. We've picked up a few more baby items and some cool new technology that will come in handy when the little guy arrives. I'll be posting more about the new stuff soon. Sorry the blog has suffered! I've been pretty slammed at work but I think that's a good thing considering the economy.

"And In This Corner...Weighing In At 1 LB"

Christine had another ultrasound this morning. Baby Chastin weighed in at 1 pound. The ultrasound lady snapped a profile pic for me and the doctor told us everything is looking great. I've been wanting to take the video camera in and record some live action shots for ya'll. But the doctors office doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm. Maybe I'll get the camera glasses from WSB's investigative unit and go undercover. We have another appointment in two weeks.

Christine has challenged me to start cooking more. She heard I was a good cook. But says I've haven't proven it yet.

I've been spoiled over the past few years as Christine has honed her cooking skills.
Christine is an excellent cook. So good that I've taken it for granted.

With a baby boy on the way, it's time to step up my game, dust off those legendary family recipes, and wow her with new and exciting culinary delights.

So get ready Christine, those Enchiladas were just the beginning. Welcome to Thunder Dome!

*Disclaimer: I had some spare time while writing this post. Hope you laughed.
